The client contracted us to complete the supply and installation of a 1200-amp sub-main supply from the main switchboard to the plastics extruder room. The supply consisted of 3 x 240mm2 XLPE copper cables per phase and neutral. Due to the weight of the cabling and complex twists and turns over the span of 150 meters, this task required complex cable hauling high near the warehouse roof, requiring the use of multiple scissor lifts and a boom lift. Our team completed the task over a period of 5 days, which included the connection to both the main and sub-main switchboard.
